Our commitment

Small brand, real responsibility.

We sell clothes. That comes with obligations to the world those clothes end up in.

We're not going to tell you a dress saves the planet. It doesn't. What we can tell you is what we actually do, what we don't do yet, and where we're trying to get better.

Everyone who works here genuinely loves this shop. We partner with local and international associations working to care for and protect the planet we all share.

In practice

What this actually means

Concrete commitments rather than adjectives.

01

A chart for every dress

Not to look thorough, but because a dress that fits is a dress that stays. Returns are the largest source of waste in online fashion.

02

We order small and often

It costs us more per unit and it means pieces sell out. We prefer that to a warehouse of unsold stock.

03

We choose our makers carefully

Skill, standards and a willingness to improve. We'd rather carry fewer dresses than ones we can't stand behind.

04

We give back

We partner with local and international associations working to protect the environment.

05

We don't overclaim

We're a young business. We're not certified, we're not carbon neutral, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Honest progress beats a perfect promise.

How we think about this

Being straight with you

Where we're not there yet

The parts most brands leave out.

01

Certification

We hold none

Third-party certification is expensive and slow for a business our size. It's on the list, not on the wall.

02

Packaging

Work in progress

We're moving to recycled and recyclable mailers across the whole range, not just some of it.

03

Transport

Not offset

We don't currently offset shipping emissions. We'd rather say so than buy a badge.
